Driving Free Targeted Traffic To Your Sites

Driving Free Targeted Traffic To Your Sites

“These are serious traffic tools for ethical marketers who understand that you sometimes have to play aggressively or get crushed!”

Let me introduce you to a trusted friend, Bishop Anders. You’ve probably never heard of him, and that’s because he generally prefers it that way. He’s spent most of the last few years working away in his software lab creating some incredibly effective ways to drive free traffic to his sites.

When I first met Bishop, sitting on a noisy patio at a seminar in Orlando, Florida, and he explained what he did, I was naturally skeptical. So, he showed me his software and let me test it out. The next time that I saw him, at a seminar in Austin,Texas, I followed him around like a little puppy, because I wanted to know HOW his software worked so effectively!

I was accustomed to either a lot of hard work, or to paying through the nose for quality website traffic.

After several months of testing and meticulously tracking the results from using Bishop’s software, I can say without hesitation that he ‘walks the walk’ and that his software provides proven methods to gain inbound links, improve search engine rankings, and capture traffic from numerous high traffic sources.

I’ve experienced the results (tens of thousands of unique visitors per month) from using just a few of his programs. I plan on using many more of them, because they WORK!

These are frighteningly effective programs and must be used responsibly (children need not apply!), but in the hands of ethical marketers like you and me, they are the answer to building a massive web presence even in crowded, very competitive niches.

I’ve personally met Bishop and his support team, and they ARE the best in their field.

I fully endorse Bishop and his software, and highly recommend tapping into this arsenal of traffic machines!

Using Video To Build Opt-In Lists

Using Video To Build Opt-In Lists

© Doug Champigny, PLRForSale.com

More and more video is appearing online – both personal videos people share with friends and videos marketers are using to sell their products, build traffic to their web sites, as products themselves, and to build their lists.

When you talk about using video for list-building, most people immediately think of offering downloadable videos as bait to get people to opt-in – and that’s a very good use of video. But there’s an even better way to use video for building your list – Video Squeeze Pages!

Still fairly new online, the initial results from video opt-in pages are extremely encouraging – people are reporting much higher opt-in rates with video squeeze pages than the standard HTML pages that were there before. And that’s not really surprising, if you think about live in the offline world.

It’s human nature that we prefer doing business with people we know, as opposed to big, faceless corporations. You like dealing with Bob the grocer, Mary the hairdresser, Donna the newspaper girl and Billy the pool boy. But what emotion is called up by thinking about the government, the banks, the telephone and cable companies or an oil company? Which of those two groups would you rather your money was going to?

The same will most likely prove to be the case online, based on the results we’re seeing from video. When you do a quick video inviting people to sign up and telling them about your e-zine and your incentive, they’re doing business with YOU – a real, live human being they can probably relate to, as opposed to a big faceless website.

You’ve been to a number of the huge websites – from corporate sites to the search engines. Feel any emotional attachments to them? Would you care if they disappeared tomorrow and were replaced by another? Would you even notice?

But if you frequent a marketer’s site, one that presents themselves in videos for you, the connection is stronger. Not as strong as if you’d met them in person, perhaps, but MUCH more so than a corporate site.

And THAT’S the reason emerging for the fact that video squeeze pages are getting better results. And like anything in the realm of marketing, better results means more profit – and that more and more people will be following suit until the market is saturated – if that level CAN be reached online.

But don’t wait til video squeeze pages are as common as blogs are today – get your own video squeeze page online now while they’re fairly new, and enjoy the extra returns it brings. Simply put your short video on a page with your opt-in form beside it, and invite people to fill out the information and download your gift.

1 Hour + 1 Week = 149 Backlinks

Article Marketing - Boost Your Branding, Backlinks, PageRank & Profits in 1 Hour A Week.

©2008 Doug Champigny. All Rights Reserved.

Is it really possible to majorly affect your success online in just one hour a week?

Yes, once you’ve mastered Article Marketing, one of the most powerful Web 2.0 tactics that can boost your branding, provide backlinks to your sites, boost your site’s PageRank, drive targeted traffic & skyrocket your profits in 1 Hour A Week.

Another big advantage is that Article Marketing can put you miles ahead of your competition, especially if you’re selling resell rights products or promoting affiliate marketing links, two areas with the most direct competition online. You see, very few people mount any real marketing attack in these two areas - the send out an e-mail or two and move on to the next product. By raising the profile, links to and search engine rankings for your affiliate pre-sell pages, squeeze pages or resell rights sales pages, you can start to see results not matched by any of your competition.

Here’s a real-world example of the power of Article Marketing:

On April 23, 2008, I spent 15 minutes writing each of 3 articles - 45 minutes total. I was careful to pick topics that are tightly targeted to the sites and products I have online, so they were on resell rights, article marketing and affiliate marketing.

That’s an important point about successful article marketing - the more tightly targeted your article is to your sites’ target market, the better your results will be. With article marketing you’re actually pre-qualifying your traffic because only those who were sufficiently interested in reading your original article will click the following link to your sites, and if the article was highly relevant then this targeted traffic arrives at your site already accepting you as an expert in the subject area and ready to see what more you have on it.

Back to our article marketing case study… After spending 45 minutes writing the three articles, I then fired my secret weapon - the real trick to doing article marketing quickly, efficiently and effectively. I logged into one of the most-professional article submission services online and uploaded my 3 articles - I’ll say it took 15 minutes including writing the descriptions, author’s info box and linking URL for the three articles, but in reality it probably took less than 10 minutes. But we’ll call it 15 minutes and the hour was up.

I then put article marketing out of my mind and went back to all my ‘normal’ internet marketing and affiliate marketing efforts. A
week later as I was about to start week two’s article marketing activities, I logged back into the submission service to see what the situation was with the first 3 articles. How does 149 backlinks in Google alone sound to you?

In fact, in just one week, the numbers were:

55 pages indexed and live in google showing my resell rights article;

43 pages indexed and live in Google showing my Article Marketing article; and

51 pages indexed and live in Google showing my Affiliate Marketing article!

That’s 149 more places for people to run into my name and solid info from me online, 149 more links back to my sites, each capable of attracting tightly-targeted traffic to my salespages and affiliate marketing pre-sell pages. For one hour’s work, total. That’s the immediate benefit to article marketing - almost instant spidering by the search engines, and a number of new profit conduits set up aimed at your payment button or affiliate links.

Assuming that was the average response rate, over the course of a year that would be about 150 articles you would write and submit, and the results would be almost 7,500 links to your sites, blogs and affiliate links - think that would help your marketing efforts? And even if you could find them, what do you think 7,500 one-way backlinks to your sites would cost?

And believe it or not, that’s just the tip of the iceberg with Article Marketing. You see, to already be spidered, indexed and appearing in Google within a week of going online, those copies of my articles are all at article directories or article repostories - the sites online where webmasters, marketers, e-zine publishers, e-book authors and bloggers go to find fresh content. And, increasingly, video marketers looking for articles to turn into viral videos.

Assuming even a very small proportion of those people like the articles and choose to use them, the number of sites using the articles, promoting my name and expertise, and exposing people to my links will skyrocket exponentially. So during our sample year, as more directories are spidered, as more webmasters, marketers and bloggers use my articles and are eventually spidered too, the number of links to my sites from those 150 articles could easily reach 15,000, 30,000 or even 100,000 links, each it’s own tiny little salesperson for my growing online empire.

And remember too, article marketing is just one area of a professional marketing attack, a small part of the full Web 2.0 traffic-generating techniques, albeit a very powerful part. If you’ve been missing out on the power of article marketing, you may now have a better idea of why some marketers are doing so much better with resell rights products and affiliate marketing than you have been. Change that today - add the power of Article Marketing into YOUR Internet marketing arsenal today!

Internet Marketing Blogging Tips

Internet Marketing Blogging Tips

©2008 Doug Champigny. All Rights Reserved.

While many thought blogging was a passing fad, it’s now obvious that blogging is a practice that is here to stay as a powerful Web 2.0 marketing and traffic-generation toolset - and marketers are definitely profiting from their blogging efforts. Blogs are especially attractive to Internet marketers, for a variety of reasons.

First, installing and operating a blog is very simple. There is no need to learn HTML, and you can have a blog set up and operating in a matter of minutes. For popular blog software, such as WordPress, there are numerous templates available all over the Internet to help you make your blog attractive. And most professional hosting sites offer almost instant WordPress installation through Fantastico in your cPanel options.

You can blog even if you don’t have your own website, by using a hosted blog such as that found at Blogger. However, you should ideally set your blog up on its own domain, with a professional domain name and webhosting.

Blogs are especially important for search engine optimization purposes. When you add a blog post to your blog, simply include a link or two to your main website that your blog pertains to - over time link to both the homepage and at least a few of the main interior pages of the site. This adds inbound links for your website, and may help to boost your rankings in the search engines. Be sure your blog template includes an appropriate robots meta-tag or use a ‘Do Follow’ blog plug-in though, or you may be wasting your time.

The important thing about marketing blogging is that you provide content that is of interest to your niche - not to the industry that your niche is in. You must stay tightly focused on your niches’ concerns, problems, and desires and ignore the rest of the market as a whole. You can’t please the entire market, and that isn’t what you are trying to accomplish anyway.

If you have various areas or sites to promote that aren’t tightly targeted to that same niche, set up a separate blog for each one. For example, an Internet marketer may have one blog for mainstream marketing, one for affiliate marketing, one for niche marketing, etc. Or an Internet marketer targeting the golf niche, as another example, might have one blog that discusses golf swings and how to improve them, one on golfing equipment, and a third that discusses and rates golf courses around the world.

Always keep in mind that the more tightly focused the blog, the tighter the targeting of the traffic it attracts - and highly-targeted traffic is the lifeblood of your sales process and list-building online. In the previous example, all 3 blogs might lead to the same web site - but one would lead to the page where you’re selling golf instruction videos and e-books, the second to your section on golf equipment, and the third to a page promoting golf vacations and packages.

That same example shows how easily blogging can benefit affiliate marketers as well - each of those three blogs might send traffic to two or three links each, tightly targeted to that blog’s subject matter. Yes, all 3 deal with golf, but by handling it correctly you could be tightly targeting 6 or 9 different affiliate opportunities within the golfing industry online.

It is also important that you blog daily, or several times per week at the very least. Don’t worry about how many people are reading your blog. The more you update it, the more popular it can become in the blog directories and search engines. Over time, you should be able to build a good readership, and you will make sales to those people as time goes on. Add a sign-up form for your opt-in mailing list and you’ve created a really powerful marketing & profit center for yourself, one that can generate an ongoing influx of new traffic into your sales funnel.

To ensure you get maximum exposure for your blogs, use as many of the Web 2.0 services as you have time for. Use the ‘auto-pinging’ function built into WordPress to maximum advantage, list your blogs with services like Technorati and MyBlogLog, and use the online ping services like Pingoat and Ping-O-Matic to update even more directories each time you add another article (post) to your blogs.

Of all the Web 2.0 methods open to marketers, the combination of ease of use, low or no cost, and potential returns available makes blogging a must-have tool for Internet marketing, and it’s especially well-suited to those just entering the field. In fact, we’re seeing more and more fledgling Internet marketers beginning with, and sometimes staying exclusively with, blogging instead of traditional site building.

Get YOUR Internet marketing blogging going today!

Article Marketing Meets Search Engine Optimization!

Article Marketing Meets Search Engine Optimization!

© 2008 Doug Champigny. All Rights Reserved.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is important on your web site – but you already knew that, right? But did you know that search engine optimization is also an important part of your article marketing, vis-à-vis the articles that you will distribute and submit to the various article directories too? You must keep SEO in mind during all of your article marketing efforts…

You may think that the only part that article marketing plays in search engine optimization is that it provides numerous one-way back links to your websites, blogs and affiliate promotions. While this does help in the optimization of your own sites to an extent, there is more to it than that. You want your articles to become as viral as possible – and performing search engines optimization on your articles accomplishes this feat in two very important ways.

First, when your article is search engine friendly, using keywords that you hope to target in the search engines, it is more likely to appear higher up in the search engine results when those keywords are searched. Furthermore, when people do searches at the article directories using your keywords, your articles should come up better in those results as well. Search engine optimization and article marketing really must go hand-in-hand at all times!

Second, there are hundreds of thousands of people building AdSense sites. They want articles that cause specific types of AdSense ads to appear on their site. An article with the right search engine optimization accomplishes this, which means that more of these publishers will want to use your articles on their site – and that wider exposure can boost your article marketing results significantly.

Unfortunately, most online marketers don’t understand the importance of making their articles search engine friendly - and even if they do, they aren’t sure how to achieve sufficient search engine optimization in their article marketing efforts. Many sites and e-books go into long, complicated explanations, but it is really quite simple.

First, use your keyword phrase in the title of your article. This is extremely important. Next determine the keyword density that you want to use. Experts say that a keyword density of 2% - 5% is good. This means that 2% or more of your article should contain your keyword phrase. So if your article is 500 words long, your keyword phrase should appear at least 10 times (500 x 2% = 10). So your keyword phrase should be used twice in the first paragraph, six times in the body of the article, and twice in the last paragraph.

Article marketing is one of the most powerful ways to promote your web sites and your blogs, and to drive targeted traffic to your affiliate marketing links. Hopefully your on-site search engine optimization is already bringing you in solid levels of targeted traffic from the major search engines, and now you know to keep off-site search engine optimization foremost in your mind when you next sit down to your article marketing tasks!

Why Affiliate Marketing?

Why Affiliate Marketing?

©2008 Doug Champigny. All Rights Reserved.

Each of us has its own interest or has a hobby. Some love all kinds of books, music, and movies while others are into sports and traveling. There are also people who love to grow flowers and loves pets. These things help us to relax and forget our everyday problems and troubles and these things are common to people. But not everyone has a hobby that makes money for him/her except if you love your job.

A good money-making hobby could let you treat your family and friends with the extra cash or you can even quit your current job that you almost certainly hate. That is why many of us today go online to start a business; their reasons are either to supplement their income or to gradually replace their offline income from their job. Affiliate marketing is a great way to start in making money online.

Affiliate marketing is a revenue sharing partnership between a web merchant and one or more affiliates. The affiliate is paid a commission for referring clicks, leads or most often sales to the merchant. An affiliate’s advantage is that he can make money in a business where he doesn’t have the upfront costs of creating his own product, and he doesn’t have to worry about e-commerce, bookkeeping, or even customer support for it is the merchant’s responsibility.

Now, for sure you want to be an affiliate marketer with all that benefits an affiliate could get. But, do you have what it takes to be an affiliate marketer? Before you begin your venture into affiliate marketing, you need to decide first which area interest you. What products do you know the most and which products you could do the best job of selling? Once you discover your specialty, perseverance, patience, determination comes next. These are the qualities you should possessed to be a good affiliate marketer.

Too many online business prospectors lose out because they become impatient. You also have to know what your strengths are, the things in which you are good at and your capabilities and abilities related to your chosen streak. And the most important thing is you have to have a strong desire to succeed in affiliate marketing.

To be an affiliate marketer is not an easy task. You have to learn the techniques of marketing your product or service. You shouldn’t be looking at every chance because marketing is all about attracting you to look at this or that particular opportunity. To be a successful affiliate marketer, you should learn how to listen and to be taught because in life we need to learn skills to get by.

For an affiliate marketer, you should know how to market your site effectively, in will enable you to get thousands of visitors coming to your site which transforms into more sales. This only means that the faster you set up a website, the bigger your chances of making money online faster. You should avoid the same mistakes some affiliates make everyday, they are only building a short-term business where they just make a small sale. Make sure you do understand that you should be building a long-term affiliate business and not just something that makes you a few dollars on one sale.

It is also better to have knowledge on how to upsell your visitors for expensive services. This will in turn make you become recognized as an expert in your field and making money will be easier. There are some people thinks that just by having affiliate links on their website will bring them good profits. This can have some truth to it, but then most successful affiliates still believe that making use of strong marketing campaigns for their affiliate programs is still important. But affiliate marketers become much more successful when they treat their customers or online visitors as friends. Make a commitment to establish relationships with your customers and especially with visitors to your site. It is very important for an affiliate marketer to have a good business relationship with customers or visitors.

You should also be creative. The real key to being successful with affiliate marketing is to develop a good content based website and weave your affiliate links into all your content. You have to provide your prospects with good, quality content to keep them coming back to your site. So, do you have what it takes to be an affiliate marketer?

Viral Marketing Basics

Viral Marketing Basics

© Jeff Dedrick. All Rights Reserved.

Viral Marketing is one of the best ways for you to sell a product or service – in fact, it’s one of the best ways to make a lot of sales.

How? Because thanks to the way that viral marketing works, you don’t need to have a big list, or a lot of money to put into an advertising campaign – but you can still have a huge impact.

First of all, let’s go over exactly what viral marketing is. (According to Wikipedia, “Viral Marketing refers to marketing techniques that use preexisting social networks to produce increases in brand awareness, through self-replicating viral processes, analogous to the spread of pathological and computer viruses. It can be word-of-mouth delivered or enhanced by the network effects of the Internet. Viral marketing is a marketing phenomenon that facilitates and encourages people to pass along a marketing message voluntarily. Viral promotions may take the form of video clips, interactive Flash games, advergames, images, or even text messages.”)

But that sounds a little complicated, don’t you think? To break it down into plain English, basically Viral Marketing is just a way of getting a bunch of people to tell other people about something you’ve created to build a buzz about your product or service. And by passing it around to other people, it builds social proof – (because there’s a kind of implied endorsement when you send something to someone else.) Sometimes you get lucky and the more it’s passed around the more it takes on a life of its own.

A perfect example is the “Free Hugs” video on YouTube. It has been viewed by millions of people, and the music – a song written by a group called the “Sick Puppies.” That video was responsible for launching their singing career – even though that was not the original intention. That video – and the story behind it went viral and caught the attention – and the hearts – of people all over the world. It even spawned a movement that is still going on.

Although you might not be able to pull off a viral marketing campaign that does as well as the “Free Hugs” video, if you are willing to spend a little time researching your market and your target audience, and can think outside the box, you can create a very successful viral marketing campaign of your own.

What kind of things can go viral? Obviously videos. (In fact, if you look at most of the “gurus” in the Internet Marketing field right now, you’ll see they’re all heavily using videos to promote their launches and create marketing campaigns that go viral. However, if you don’t have the desire to do videos, you can go with that old standby – the “Special Report.” Podcasts, white papers, even case studies all have the ability to “go viral” and get a lot of people very interested in what you have to say – and sell.

To create a successful viral marketing campaign, it’s very important that you find the right mix of media, marketing and audience. Make sure that your target audience is going to be interested in what you have to say, the way you’re saying it and how you’re bringing it to their attention. If you get these three things right, chances are, you’ll have a winner on your hands, and your next marketing campaign will go viral too.

Publish Your Newsletter Without Writing A Word

Using PLR Articles As Your E-Zine

©2008 Doug Champigny. All Rights Reserved.

If you haven’t started building your own opt-in list, you need to do that right away. The most important tool that an Internet Marketer has is his or her list! Aside from building that list, the next most important thing to have is something to send to that list on a regular basis to help build your credibility, and to help establish a relationship with your list subscribers.

Many Internet Marketers write their own stuff, including articles, ebooks, web content, and emails, but not all Internet Marketers have writing skills that they need. These Internet Marketers do one of two things: They either hire a ghostwriter, or they use private label rights articles.

Private label rights articles are very useful for newsletters. Where you must change PLR articles before using them on your website or distributing them to the article repositories, you really don’t have to change them at all when you are just using them as content for your list.

You will, however, want to make sure that you format them so that the lines don’t break up. There is software that will help you to do this. You will also want to personalize them a bit by adding in your products, PLR products, or affiliate products that you want to promote.

Obviously, you will need to add your signature to them, and you might want to add an ‘opening’ paragraph or two to tell your subscribers the purpose of providing the article to them. You do not have to tell them that it is a PLR article, of course.

For profitable results, choose PLR articles that will help to teach your readers something, and find affiliate products that relate to that topic. Check the article for grammar and spelling errors, and make sure that it is formatted correctly. Never send an email out to your list without testing it first by having it sent only to you!

Creating E-mail Courses with PLR Articles

Creating E-mail Courses with PLR Articles

© Doug Champigny. All Rights Reserved.

Email courses are very popular. There will always be people in your niche that want to learn something new that is related to that niche, and as an expert in your field, they will look to you to teach them what they want to learn. Email courses offer the perfect opportunity to do this – and to earn some money as well.

Email courses are typically free for the person taking the course. Since you want to build an opt-in list, if you don’t already have one, you will need an autoresponder that supports multiple lists anyway. This means that you won’t be out any additional money if you offer a free email course.

You will, however, need content for that course. PLR articles offer a very viable solution. You can use the gist of the material, and make changes and additions to suit your course. The cost of niche PLR packages is very reasonable, and should fit into any budget.

You simply set up your autoresponder, and put a subscribe box on your site for that particular course. You then make changes to the PLR articles that you will be using so that you can deliver your course in a logical way that helps your readers learn what you are hoping to teach them. You then load those articles into your autoresponder, having one sent out each day, week, or every couple of days, as you desire. You’re all set to go!

Now, how can you make money by giving away a free email course? That’s the easy part. You simply promote affiliate products in the text of the course. Of course you will want to promote products directly related to what you are teaching your readers, but you can find affiliate products on every imaginable topic, so this shouldn’t be a problem.
